Final Project Struggles

For the final lit. project i chose to look for GLBTQ childrens books and when it comes to finding the books in libraries with the book request system to gather books from all over the state I've been able find where to get most books I wanted. Then I began my search for articles on these books. This is a much harder task! I'm finding articles where people make many statements about GLBTQ representations across genres or where the books author has written about well...writing. I am still struggling to find articles on the actual books being studied by an insider to the group. Hopefully with a visit to the library one of the membership only websites MSU has access to search for journals will turn something up. I think it is a bit of a shame that its so hard to find these valuble reviews for teachers and librarians let alone parents or children and adolescents.
